who is ready for some rain and kilts?

where to begin?
1. never been to Scotland so that should put your minds at ease
2. not as old as your parents but my nephew is a jr in highschool
3. no clue what language Scotlanders speak, have you heard it?
like many things in my life scotland was given to me. connie the rock called me up and we prayed and bambi i am leading our trip to sCOTLAND with y’all/u-all/yall/you all.
4. not from the South
bio: i was born 6 pound 3 ounces to one mom and one dad and two older female tourchers, grew up eventually, fell in love with doing missions and consquentially the LORD and consequentially fell in love with missions again.
FOLKS this is going to be a wild ride. ARE YOU READY?
Short-Term Missions is like waiting in line for a rollercoaster on a busy day. waiting is draining. you think, will we ever get there. there are moments when you don’t mind the wait because you are freaked out. you go through the ride again and again in your head wondering where you might end up sitting…the anixiety builds but the waiting gets harder. you begin to run out of things to talk about with your fellow linEz. the sun beats down on you and makes you want to quit but you continue the back and forth. now, you are closer and you begin to talk again. last minute logisitical planning ensue as to who you should sit by whom and where? your heart pumps and you begin to pray that things will go ok. some guy introduces all the infomation about the ride and some instructions, which you can’t even listen to because your hands are sweeting. you think, what am i doing this is nuts. thoughts of jumping the line swirl but it is too late you are in the seat and someone is pushing the bar down. one last uninteligable instuction and a “Clear!” and you are out of there. there is no turning back now. some clasp the seat in front of them, others with their hands up but we all go up. the energy builds and after 100 clicks you’re headed down, up, upside down screaming, laughing, crying, completely terrified. soon more and more people surrender to the fact that they aren’t incontrol and begun to enjoy themselves even more. Welcome Back Riders How was Your Ride? even the most tentative riders hallor! people almost run down the off ramp, changed, and can’t wait for more.
God has put us on a rollercoaster that He only knows. Our rollercoaster is ministering and sharing the Gospel to those in Scotland and to one another in the name of OUR SAVIOR Jesus Christ. May we surrender to Him and trust that it will not only be ok but fun and glorifying to God.
5. i can’t wait to meet uhaul.
