Ever since I was a small human I had thought mission work was kuel. But I had always focused on other things. Over this past summer my church had a Romanian missionary come and talk to everyone. He had came before but I always missed it. This time though, I went. He talked about how there is a Muslim movement happening in Europe , and also about the need for missionaries. The entire time I was thinking “Wow that’s pretty bad we need some people over there”. So when he finished talking I started to leave but got half way to my car and felt the need to go back and talk with him. He told some stories and I thought he was a beastly guy ,but I just kinda brushed it off and went on with my business. A few weeks later I went to youth camp and I was picking my classes for the week and noticed for the first time they had a missions class. So I told my friend who is training to be a missionary and has already done a gazzilion trips that I want to take that class. She asked me why and I told her just cause. The first day the leader man asked us to share our story and how we were called to missions. My friend went first and told all her awesome things. Then I went and told the class the same stuff I told you and at the end I said that ” I think God is calling me to do his work in Europe”. Then the week I got back from camp I signed up for this lovely trip and in front of the church dedicated my life to missions. That’s how i was called to missions. Hope you were able to read it in all it’s non-paragrphed glory.

somebody has a whit! europe was put on my heart too when i was in highschool. i thought it was to visit due to my fascination with European history and culture. it took me longer to see God’s calling and to hear His voice for what it was, HIS VOICE. this trip is going to be good.
