As if life couldn't get any crazier right now!
We lost my Gramma Jean at 3:08 this morning… I would like to ask for prayer, as this has my whole family pretty shaken right now. We know she is in a better place, with Jesus in Heaven.
She's suffered for years with pretty much any condition you can my affected with. So, we are all relieved that she passed peacefully in her sleep, like she has always wanted to. I got to be with in in her last hours and minutes and it brings me comfort to know that I was there, to tell her I loved her and also to support my mom.
I'll still miss her though. I was closer to this woman than basically anyone else in the world, I don't know if I would have made it through certain times in my life with out her… I guess I just wanted to let you guys know because I believe you care, and I'm sure some of you know exactly what this feels like.
I may be a little shaky for the first couple day of camp, but I am not going to let this distract me from the purpose of this trip, which is to serve our Lord, as I know she would want me to.
On a side note this opened up an opportunity for me to open up to my mom about how sorry I am for how I have treated her, to tell her how much I appreciate her, and how much i truly truly love her.
